Cookies & Session Storage

AiSA uses a small number of browser storage mechanisms. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.
What we store
- Authentication session. When you sign in, our authentication provider stores your session token in
localStorageso you stay signed in across page loads. - Anonymous session identifier (
anon_session_id). A random UUID stored inlocalStorage. We use it to enforce the free-search limit for signed-out visitors and to associate your pre-signup chat history with your account when you sign up. - Hashed IP throttling. Server-side, we compute a short SHA-256 hash of your IP address to rate-limit AI queries and prevent bot abuse. We do not store your raw IP for this purpose.
- Local chat state. Your in-progress chat with the homepage AI search may be kept in browser
localStorageso a page refresh doesn't lose the conversation.
What we don't use
- Third-party advertising cookies.
- Cross-site tracking pixels.
- Fingerprinting.
Clearing storage
You can clear any of this data at any time via your browser's site-data settings. Clearing it will sign you out and reset your free-search allowance for the current browser.
